1. Lavender

  • 1/2 cup lavender flowers (dry)
  • 1/2 cup sage (chopped)
  • 2 cups of water (500 ml)
  • 8 drops of lavender essential oil

  • Mix the lavender, sage and water in a saucepan and cook the ingredients covered over a low temperature for 20 minutes.
  • Then pour through a sieve to remove the solids.
  • Now pour the infusion into a glass and let it cool down.
  • Finally add the essential oil and mix everything well.

Moisten a soft cloth with this mixture and treat your hands with it. You can also use it to make an envelope so that your hands can benefit particularly well.

You can prepare a relaxing bath for your hands with this recipe, which also contains lavender.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp lavender flowers (dry)
  • 1/2 – 1 cup of milk
  • 1/3 cup of pure bee honey

Preparation:

  • Use the mortar or food processor to powder the dry lavender flowers. Mix the powder with the honey and milk.
  • Half of this mixture is enough for a full bath. You only need a quarter for a hand bath. You can store the rest in the refrigerator.

    Ice works great for swelling. Wrap ice cubes in a towel or use an ice pack to treat swollen hands. 

    • Don’t forget: the ice shouldn’t come into direct contact with the skin. This is how you can prevent cold damage.

    Repeat the ice treatment several times a day. But don’t let the ice work for more than 20 minutes.

    Ginger root is known for its decongestant effects and numerous other benefits. It has long been used in natural medicine for pain, inflammation and blood thinning.

    • Prepare yourself ginger tea: Simply scald a tablespoon of grated ginger root or ginger powder with hot water and let it steep. If desired, sweeten the tea with honey and add a splash of lemon juice.
