So that you can also use the peel of the lemons, they must be organically grown without any after-treatment.

Frozen lemon with anti-cancer properties

The lemon is known for its many uses in the kitchen and for its medicinal properties and is therefore very popular worldwide. Find out today the benefits of  frozen lemon  in cancer prevention.

Lemon juice has been used for numerous recipes and remedies since ancient times. Because it not only tastes delicious, it also contains valuable nutrients and antioxidants.

The lemon supports the detoxification of the organism. It also strengthens the immune system and counteracts free radicals. Therefore, it is of great use in preventing various diseases.

What is not so well known, however, is that  there are important nutrients in the peel of the lemon,  which usually just end up in the garbage.

Valuable antioxidants and essential oils are concentrated in the shell , which – according to a recent study – could be helpful in the treatment of cancer.

Frozen lemon with anti-cancer properties

Lemon has long been known to have  antibiotic and antiviral properties.  This can inhibit various pathogens that can cause infections or other ailments.

It has also been confirmed that the lemon is very effective against internal parasites (worms). It can also lower blood pressure. In addition, this citrus fruit is recommended for nervous complaints.

However, it has now also been found that the lemon has anti-cancer properties. This could support  various cancer treatments. Scientists assume that some of these could be more effective than chemotherapy.

We then take a closer look at the benefits of lemon as an anti-cancer food:

Lemon contains valuable medicinal active ingredients in a very concentrated form: this citrus fruit  is able to destroy cancer cells without attacking healthy cells  (which is one of the main problems with chemotherapy).

Since the lemon has an alkaline effect, it changes the over-acidic environment in such a way that the cancer cannot spread in the organism.

More than 20 studies have concluded that the limonoids contained in lemon are responsible for their  anti-cancer effects (especially in breast cancer).

In fact, it is claimed that this citrus fruit is 10,000 times more effective at fighting the spread of cancer cells than adriamycin, a drug used in chemotherapy.

However, as already mentioned, the advantage of lemon is  that it does not attack healthy cells  and is therefore an absolutely safe form of treatment.

Limonoids are said to have positive effects on the following diseases:

  • Colon cancer
  • Pancreatic cancer
  • Prostate cancer

In order to benefit from the anti-cancer properties of lemon, it  must be regularly consumed with the peel.

The best way to do this is to rub the frozen lemon:

  • It is important that you use an organically grown lemon for this without any post-treatment of the peel. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
  • Then you freeze them.
  • Then you can simply rub the lemon (both the peel and the pulp and juice).

The powder you get with it can be used  for a wide variety of recipes. The frozen lemon also tastes delicious in fruit juices, smoothies or cocktails.

Frozen Lemon or Lemon Juice?

Lemon juice is very healthy, but it doesn’t contain the anti-cancer ingredients that can only be found in the peel. We therefore recommend that you rub the frozen lemon with its peel regularly and use it in a wide variety of dishes.

It is estimated that a whole lemon (with the peel) contains up to 22 anti-cancer substances. These include, for example, the following:

  • Limes
  • Citrus pectin
  • Flavonol glycosides
  • vitamin C

Can frozen lemon actually be anti-cancer?

Data from the Australian  Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) shows that whole lemon can reduce cancer by up to 50%.

As a precaution, it is advisable  to consume at least 150 g of citrus fruits per week.

However, you should never treat yourself if you have an illness but always seek medical advice and care! You are also not allowed to stop taking any medication yourself. Trust your doctor!
